“My name is Shakira and I'm a photographer. I'm 21 and I currently live in East London. I've been doing photography for around eight years but have been doing it freelance for around four years. Photography plays a big role in my life as it keeps me connected to my creativity but it is also more than that, as I am able to interact and connect with people which gives my passion a great purpose. Photography is a beautiful unspoken language that cannot be matched. The main inspiration and focus of my images are people whether it's my friends, individuals in the crowd at events or local people in the area I am visiting.”
