“As a fine art student I have been researching public art and how it has changed over history and I am passionate about making art more accessible by removing the 'white cube'/gallery space and integrating art into everyday life. I work with mixed media, spanning from digital works to hand made works and am largely inspired by graphic design from the 80's and 90's. The materials I use and my ideas are closely related by using associations with the material or to juxtapose it through the use of signs, semiotics, current issues, pop culture, experiences, conversations, social media and fashion. Every piece intends to scream for attention with the use of bright colours and distorted images that are usually accompanied by text that adds a second story to the work.”
